For #The100DayProject. Started this little drawing while I was away and of course, as always, ran out of time when real life intervened and I had to run around to appointments and generally get things done. So I've finally finished it, and I think the fact that I've been in a really good mood recently does come through with the unintended use of bright colour and the many splashes and drips and almost far too much sweetness.
Napoleon belongs to some lovely new friends I made on the last trip back to France, and I had to draw him. You'll find a photo of the little kid goat under the in-progress images below ...
I'm now back home and hopefully can continue on a more regular basis with my animal sketches though I am appallingly far behind. Still, it's wonderful practice for me and a lot of fun so I shall keep going at it.
Drawn with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, painted with Winsor and Newton watercolours, all in my wonderful Stillman & Birn zeta sketchbook. Cheers.
