What do I do when I'm not working on children's illustrations or college projects? Well, I doodle of course. I have a collection of black and white drawings that started out as self-therapy and have now ended up as colouring pages that are available as printables for immediate download at the etsy shop opened by Floating Lemons ... that's me of course, just one of my other personas, the one that works on slightly more 'commercial' illustrations to try to earn a keep.
Above is one of my older drawings, altered slightly to make it more interesting to colour in ... below is the original:
And here's one of the 13 pages that's already up at the shop, available for immediate download:
I love colouring books, though I haven't yet had the time to add colour to my own pages ... sad, right? Do I get any sleep? That's a question I'm constantly asking myself while I'm working pen (or pencil or brush) in hand in the wee hours of the morning or looking blearily up, with pink-rimmed eyes, at a beautiful sunrise ...
If you love colouring books or know anyone who does, please do have a peek at my new shop and let me know what you think. Just click here: Floating Lemons at Etsy. Cheers.
